  •  What this course requires:
  • 1. Read the textbook assignment for each lesson and topic
  • 2. Read the webcourse lessons and topics -- they present new, nontext material.
  • 3. Take five unit and one final examination
  • 4. Go to the "Discussions" icon for class discussions -- PARTICIPATE!
  • 5. Write a personal statement of your philosophy of education in two versions: one due Monday, August 27, and a revised statement at the end of the course (Friday, November 161).
  • 6. Document 15 hours of classroom observation. (Submit as you complete them prior to Friday, November 16)
  • 7. Submit a Power Point Classroom Visit Report to your instructor and to your classmates on one of these classroom observations of interest to you.
  • 8. Submit a three to five page Reflective Paper of analysis and your reflection on and goals relevant to one of the Illinois Professional Teaching Standards.(Due Friday, November 16)
