Minitab Project 1 - Mega Millions Lottery [PDF only]: The first of the Minitab projects involves analyzing data on the Mega Millions Lottery. Information on the Lottery including previous winnings and how you would do if you played certain numbers can be found at the Big Game Lottery web site.
Minitab Project 2 - Amtrak on time statistics [PDF only]: The second of the Minitab projects involves analyzing data from the St. Louis, MO, to Chicago, IL, and from Chicago to St. Louis runs. Amtrak makes three runs each day between the two cities and we'll compare delays in departure time, arrival time, and those incurred during the trip.
Mathematical Notation [PDF only]: This is a sequence of five documents for you to create using your favorite full-featured word processor. The object is to learn to use proper notation and also learn some statistics along the way. There is an Acrobat PDF handout detailing how to use the equation editor.
Semester Project [PDF]: Group project where you decide upon your own topic and perform some inferential statistics.

Simulation: This is a project I wrote for an ICTCM short course in May 2002. It explains the different kinds of simulation and allows you to perform some simulations online. This corresponds to the material in section 3.6 of the text. This simulation requires MS Internet Explorer. The Javascript will not work with Netscape Navigator.
