Meeting Information

This course meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 am to 11:40 am in room S137. The course meets from August 20, 2018, through December 10, 2018. The final exam is on Monday, December 10, from 10:00 am to 11:50 am.

We are not using MyMathLab or MyLab & Mastering with this course, so do not buy a package with an access code as you will not be able to use it. However, electronic versions of the textbook that do not use MyMathLab are acceptable. See the textbook page for additional information.

Graphing Calculator

You need a variant of the TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator for this course. Other brands of calculators are not acceptable. The instructor has written programs for the TI-8x series of calculators that will save enormous amounts of time and allow us to focus on concepts and less on calculations and these programs do not work on other calculators. You will need your calculator the first day of class.

Canvas Learning Management System

This course will the Canvas LMS for the gradebook, learning materials, and assignment submission. You must complete the Canvas Student Orientation before being granted access to the course. This should be done before the semester begins.
