  3. Construct a quadratic equation in x with the indicated solutions. Look at problems 45 - 47 in the chapter 5 review.
  4. Simplify each expression as much as possible. State any necessary restrictions on the variable. Five parts. Look at problems 15 - 33 in the chapter 6 review.
  5. Solve each equation. State any restrictions on the variable. Two parts. Look at problems 35 - 41 in the chapter 6 review.
  6. Application problem out of chapter 5 review. Hint: Should there be a Pythagorean theorem problem on the test, you would be responsible for knowing the formula. Look at problems 52 - 55 in the chapter 5 review.
  7. Application problem. Look at problems 50 - 54 in the chapter 6 review.
  8. Application problem. Look at problems 50 - 54 in the chapter 6 review.
  9. Optional Extra Credit: Two parts. Simplify each expression as much as possible. These would include negative exponents and variable coefficients. Look at problems 32, and 55 - 57 in the chapter 6 review.
All questions on the exam are straight from the odd problems in the chapter 5 and chapter 6 reviews with the exception of problems 6 - 9. These problems are straight from the chapter reviews, but may (or may not) be even.
