These lecture notes were copied from the Math 170 lecture notes and then modified to go with Triola's Elementary Statistics textbook. We are now using the 2nd edition of Triola's Essentials of Statistics, and the section numbers are slightly different.
These were originally written in 1997 for Larson's College Algebra: A Graphing Approach, 2nd edition. We are currently using Larson's 4th edition and few sections have changed, but not much. Look at the chapter and section titles, rather than just the number.
These were written in 1996 for our Math 170 course for Bluman's Elementary Statistics: A Step by Step Approach, 1st edition. I haven't taught the course in many, many years, but many people on the Internet find these notes useful, so I leave them out here for those people.
