Follow the Minitab instructions under the technology exercises link on the website for information about how to do the problems

1. According to a recent Newsweek poll, 64% of Americans oppose a constitutional amendment to allow a US citizen born in another country, like Arnold Schwarzennegger, to be elected president. This was based on a poll of 1004 adults. Model the distribution of the sample proportion of American adults who oppose the amendment. Simulate 200 samples with a sample size of n=1004. http://www.msnbc.com/news/978672.asp?0cv=CB20
1. Summarize the samples both numerically and graphically.
2. Compare your results to the sampling distribution model for a proportion given on page 340.
2. Use the 2000 General Social Survey to gather information and then the claim that 1/3 of 18-24 year-olds think Marijuana should be legal.
3. Use the 2000 General Social Survey to determine if the proportion of black males and black females who feel a racist should be allowed to speak are the same.
