Chapter 8 Take Home Exam

Instructions:

  1. Write only on the front of the paper.
  2. Write the problem number (1-40) from this exam, as well as the section and problem number from the book before starting each problem.
  3. Show all work. Be generous with the spacing. Don't try to cram the entire test onto one page. No credit will be given for problems without work.
  4. Include a definition statement on all story problems. No credit will be given for story problems without a definition statement.
  5. Highlight each answer.
  6. Problems will be marked right or wrong. There is no partial credit with the exception of the story problems in which 1 point will be for having a correct definition statement.
  7. All problems are out of Chapter 8 in the McKeague Intermediate Algebra, 4th ed. Any problems arising from a misprint in the book will be handled after the exam is handed back.
  8. Staple the papers together with this sheet on top.
