Math 160 - Homework

Each section of homework is worth three (3) points and is due the day of the exam over the respective chapter. The homework for the first three chapters is due on the day of the chapter 4 exam. Since there are 34 sections of homework, it will be worth a possible 101 points. It will go into the gradebook as 100 points, so there is 1 extra credit point possible there. In general, there will be little to non extra credit during the semester.

"1.7 all" means works every problem in sections 1.7. "4.1 4t" means start with problem 1 in section 4.1 and work every 4th problem after that (1, 5, 9, 13, ...). "4.2 6t" means start with problem 1 in section 4.2 and work every 6th problem after that (1, 7, 13, 19, ...). "4.3 2t" means start with problem 1 in section 4.2 and work every other problem (1, 3, 5, 7, ...), which is equivalent to saying all odd problems.

The assignments have been setup so that there are approximately 10 problems per section. There are some exceptions to this, though.
