The following programs are written by James D. Jones for use by students of Richland Community College, Decatur, IL. These programs were not written for public consumption. They were written for classroom use, with the textbooks we use in mind, and where the author of the program would be explaining to the students how to use the program. I am only making them available because several people on the Internet have requested them.
The programs may be downloaded and used on your TI-82, TI-83, TI-85, or TI-86 calculator. However, because the programs need to be accompanied by the instructions, which are found here and not in a text file, I ask that they not be uploaded to another archive site (ticalc.org, ti.com, etc.). If someone wants to take the time to document the programs properly, then I may reconsider. If you share them with people, please indicate the source.
I, James D. Jones, nor Richland Community College makes no guarantee of the suitability of these programs. Neither do we guarantee that they will perform as indicated. These programs are not in the public domain.
If you find a problem, please email the author of the programs: james@richland.edu
A link to the program instructions, the last date modified, and a link to the downloadable versions for the TI-82, TI-83, or TI-85 calculators are given below. TI-84 users should download the programs for the TI-83, TI-86 users should download the programs for the TI-85.
The binary programs are zipped so that they will download properly. Use a ZIP program to extract them before installing them to your calculator.
Many people have asked about being emailed a version of the programs so that they can enter them into their calculator. Since the programs are binary code, sending them the text in an email was impossible. I finally got around to preparing a PDF file of the source of the programs.
